In 2012 i first visited and fell in love with Great Dixter, Christopher Loyd's home and garden in East Sussex.  It instantly reminded me of Robin Tanner's pastoral etchings of the 20s and other neo-romantics,  heirs to the visionary tradition of Samuel Palmer.  I am primarily drawing, and printmaking.  By recording life, plants and people in the garden i hope to cultivate a sense of place, drawing together the natural and supernatural elements of the garden.  Great Dixter exists as innovator of colour and planting within the gardening world whilst also preserving and practicing traditional crafts and sustainable practices.
